Yes the artist visualises and draws one colour at a time so that each black and white drawing represents one colour in the final print. 8 colours=8 drawings. Mostly I work directly from objects or my surroundings, sometimes it’s more practical to work from my own photos.
Does it mean that the artist has to do the filtering of the various colours while making the drawings? Does she work from direct objects or photos of them?
Thank you for this wonderful video it is always nice to observe artists and craftsmen at work. Should not forget the one made the video too.

Oh thank you Elizabeth. It was great to watch this again and know what was going on. The lithographer ( Sven) made it look easy, but I expect he has been doing this a long time. Your art looks so real…you truly are a fantastic artist, I always enjoy seeing your work!
